Why a gang sheet costs less
A 10in x 10in transfer ordered on its own is $8.00. Nested onto a 22in x 300in sheet, that same area works out to about $2.79 — roughly a third of the price.
Your cost per square inch falls the whole way up the range: about $0.045 at 22in x 12in, down to $0.028 at 22in x 300in. There is no point where a longer sheet costs you more per inch, so if you are reordering the same designs, the longest sheet you can fill is always the cheapest way to buy.
Artwork requirements
- PNG with a genuinely transparent background. Not a white or black box behind the design — DTF lays white ink under every non-transparent pixel, so a background will print as a visible panel.
- 300 DPI at final print size. Scaling a small file up will show on the garment.
- Minimum 2pt line weight. Thinner strokes and very small text can break up or fail to release cleanly from the film.
- Colour match is not guaranteed. Screen colour and Pantone references shift when printed on film.
- Leave a gap between designs so they can be cut apart cleanly.
